This year's exciting collaboration involved the addition of poetry to inspire new dance choreography performed by Milwaukee Ballet School and Academy dancers, Catey Ott Dance Collective, University of Wisconsin dancers, Nomadic Limbs, and free lance professionals. Live music was provided by the talented musicians of Nicolet High School, led by Jamin Hoffman, Nicolet Orchestra director.  We also enjoyed new works of art, music and dance from our Lake Arts Project alumni. The performances were held on April 9th and 10th, 2016 at Danceworks Theater.

 

This year we enjoyed the famous Pachelbel's Canon, and The Swan from Carnival of the Animals. Ryan Meisal of Montauk Project returned to perform with our dancers and poets in another exciting improv piece. Our wonderful Lake Arts choreographers: Catey Ott, Petr Zahradnicek, Bonne Watson, Katharina Abderholden, Ashley McQueen and Thom Dancy are all back in action again for this year's collaboration!
